Rick Baker, special effects makeup artist and six-time Academy Award winner. You outta know that he’s the guy responsible for creating the creatures and special makeup effects in “An American Werewolf in London”, “Harry and the Hendersons”, “The Nutty Professor”, “Men In Black”, “Thriller” starring Michael Jackson, and the forthcoming Universal remake of “The Wolf Man” starring Benicio Del Toro, just to name a few. He made my day today by entertaining the idea of putting these huge plastic fangs on his head. He’s awesome!!

Comic-Con, the nation’s biggest comic-book convention, began Thursday where more than 125,000 people attended over the course of the four-day event. Many came dressed up as their favorite characters from films, comic books, cartoons, toys… and others barely came dressed at all.

Fortune reports that the iPhone 3G is still a scarce item to find. Lines continue to form at many stores, and as of this morning, 21 states were sold out of the iPhone.
The states reporting no stock on hand were Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin.
Despite long activation delays, Apple announced on Monday that they had already sold 1 million iPhones over the weekend since its launch on Friday.
